Na Međunarodnom sajmu nameštaja (UFI) predstavlja se cela drvna industrija – od faze primarne prerade drveta do izrade finalnih proizvoda. U „delokrug“ ove manifestacije spada i uređenje enterijera, kao i promocija proizvoda svih pratećih industrija – proizvođača najrazličitijih repromaterijala i mašina koje se koriste u proizvodnji nameštaja.
Manifestacija je nedavno doživela značajan redizajn i iskorak u dva pravca – u konceptualnom smislu programskim akcentovanjem dizajnerski orjentisanih kompanija, a na biznis planu jačanjem poslovne posete kroz uvođenje Hosted Buyers programa.
Mada je nekada bio samo segment Sajma nameštaja, Sajam mašina, alata i repromateijala za drvnu industriju prerastao je u zasebnu sajamsku manifestaciju.International Furniture Fair in Belgrade (UFI member) is the most important fair event within furniture, interior decoration and the related industry of production materials and furniture industry machinery in the Southeast Europe region.
The Belgrade Furniture Fair has been the meeting and promotion point of all important manufacturers from the region and Europe since its establishing, long ago, in 1963, for a long time the place where the exhibitors feature their latest products, collections and trends in furniture design, the exchange point of information and ideas, forstering the existing business contacts and making the new ones.
The Exhibiting Product Range includes the complete furniture industry, from the primary wood processing stage to the final product manufacturing.
All types and purpose furniture is exhibited, for residence and public space, office, Interior decoration and furnishing, as well as the special exhibiting section of production materials, machinery and tools for the furniture industry.
The New Conception: The event has been considerably redesigned, moving forward in two directions – as regarding the conception by the program focusing on design oriented companies and as regarding business, the business visit strengthening through the introduction of Hosted Buyers programs.
International Fair of Woodworking Machinery, Tools and Production Materials: The previous event section grew into a separate fair event with a wide offer range.
