Dear fans of an anthropological and documentary film,

The “Vizantrop” collective invites you to the third projection of the film within the series “Anthropological Film” at the Dorcol National Theater – DNT, January 29 (Monday) starting at 19h.

Come to see the biographical documentary “So Earth” by famous German director Vim Venders, who shows the Brazilian photographer’s project, who witnessed major events in our history – international conflict, hunger and exodus. He goes on to explore untouched territories, wildlife and fauna, grandiose landscapes, and his black and white photographs emphasize that the environment and people are exploited to increase profits in the global economic market.

The “Vizantrop” collective emerged as a platform for the association of regional and international (audiovisual) anthropologists, documentaries, artists and all those interdisciplinary researchers dealing with film and photography

We are a group of anthropologists, ethnologists and sociologists from Belgrade and Zagreb who are organizing a bi-monthly journal for interdisciplinary audiovisual research, visual anthropology and ethnographic film. Our goal is to launch an audiovisual lab, which will produce scientific works, films, video attachments, photographic diaries, and more.
