Every Monday and Thursday Zoom Art Cafe is turning into a cinema! On the big screen we show the art and documentary films we love. Movies are in English with English subtitles.

January 22, 20:00 – we are looking at the srtani film “Ratatouille” (Mukkalica) in 2007, directed by: Bred Bird, Jan Pinkava.

… Remy lives in Paris and has enough knowledge and passion to become a professional chef. But the problem is that Remy is a rat! Unlike the rest of his rat family, Remy does not want to eat waste from sewage and street garbage cans, but instead chooses fancy restaurants, inspired by Gusteau, the legendary Parisian cook. One night Remy decided to test his skills at Gusteau’s kitchen. But, as he was not careful, he was discovered by an awkward cleaner Linguini, a young man working in his kitchen. The two of them make an arrangement in which Remy, like a puppeteer, will quote Linguini’s hands, hiding under his hat. The delicious meals that make together Gusteau’s restaurant brings us to the center of attention, but the question arises: would the restaurant do the same thing if everyone knew that one rat was hiding behind the treats? ..
