“BEOGRADSKI DIKSILEND ORKESTAR” was founded in 2001 and in a very short time it grew into a significant cultural institution of the Serbian capital and a unique representation of the musical culture of its country. As the sole orchestra of this kind in the country, it is directly credited that DIKSILEND has reverberated again on the foundations that have been diligently built by all jazzers of these spaces for decades. The Belgrade Dixieland Orchestra is now the only active Dixieland Orchestra on the territory of the former Yugoslavia! As such, it represents a kind of artistic treasure of this country and the pride of all those who are truly aware of its artistic and historical value.
