City Municipality of Zvezdara and Festival Council proudly announce 16th Children‘s theatre festival POZORIŠTE ZVEZDARIŠTE, which will be held from 20th to 26th of November 2019. year, under the slogan „KNOW IT ALL“.
This year we start even before the official beginning! We will begin with a word for the new generations, which will be creating theatre for children and youngsters in the future.
On Tuesday, 19th of November, from 11,00 till 13,00 AM in Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade will be held a lecture named „A look into contemporary praxis of theatre for children and young audience“. A lecture is for young artists, students of art academies and professionals in scene arts for young audiences, as a result of long term cooperation with Assitej Serbia, with support from Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Department for management and theatre, radio and culture production.
Officially we start on World Children‘s Day: on Wednesday, 20th of November at 10,30 AM on the big scene of „Vuk“ theatre, the festival will be opened by Miloš Ignjatović, president of Festival Council and president of City Municipality of Zvezdara.
Children choir „Kolibri“ conducted by Ljiljana Ranđelović will perform several children songs written by Ljubivoje Ršumović, in his honor, because he‘s the winner of this year‘s prize A STAR AMONG THE STARS, which the Festival Council gives for a permanent contribution to developing of children theatre.
In the Competition section of 16th Zvezdarište 13 performances from Serbia, Bosnia, and Herzegovina, Croatia and Lithuania, choosed by selector Željko Hubač will be performed, and there are, like every year, two juries which will decide about festival awards: Expert and Children´s jury.
Members of Expert jury of 16th Zvezdarište are
Aleksandra Glovacki, dramaturge and theatre critic,
Bojana Lazić, theatre director and
Stefan Bundalo, an actor.
Members of Children’s jury will be girls and boys, 8 – 13 years old, participants of the 4th generation of the “Little theatre experts” group.
