JANUARY MODUL OF CONTACT IMPROVISATION
In January we will have a modul of classes arranged to build our skills gradually. Each class is going to be a step up, so commitment and regularity for a whole month are highly suggested. We will have classes on Tuesdays, and on Thursdays we will have labs and jams.
This modul is great for ones already familiar with this form and who are willing to strengthen their skills and practice.
WHAT IS CONTACT IMPROVISATION?
Contact improvisation is a movement practice born as exploration of new possibilities in dance trough physical contact. It is a dance in which we move trying to keep the contact with other(s) and resolve every action trough simple passages and with minimum effort, constantly improvising.
WHAT IS THE JAM?
The jam is a time-space where the contact dancers meet to dance spontaneously. It is an opportunity for movers to play and practice in a supported environment.
