13. Belgrade International Architecture Week
BINA 2018 / OD COMMUNICATION TO COMMUNICATIONS

The theme of the thirteenth BINA festival is dedicated to communications in architecture, communication with architecture and the spread of ideas about relations in the city. Communis means “common, community and sharing” and communicare “do something in common”. Architectures and architects advocate the development of space, social processes and cities by advocating public interest, promoting communities and communicativeness.

Established dialogues with the past through the imposing architect of academician and professor Ivan Antic (1923-2005), with the present through the EU project Creative Europe, Cities of Sharing: Creative Incentive (SCCM-Urban Hub 2) and visions of the future of the EU Platform Creative Europe / Future of Architecture FAP), the BINA program will be interested in the widest audience with its dynamism. Through the educational part of the program through walks, interventions, actions, workshops, guest lectures, we will explore spatial practices and narrative techniques as well as media forms that best present contemporary architecture and design.
