Darko Jurković Charlie is a multi-award-winning jazz guitarist in Rijeka – so far has won seven times the “Status” Award for Best Home Jazz Guitarist and Two “Porin”; for the best instrumental performance ‘Cantando No Toro’ in 2005 and the best jazz album in 2015 – “Jazzy Bach” (Cro Rec.), together with Matija Dedic.

Darko is one of the few guitarists in the world who plays the “two hand tapping” technique that was presented by American jazzist Stanley Jordan in the 80s of last century.
At the concert tonight, Darko will perform with two guitars, which is even more rare. Part of the concert will be played in trio with excellent Zvonimir Šestako on double bass and Jankom Novoselic on drums, while part will be solo performance with two guitars. The repertoire will find the standards and original compositions from the latest studio album “Dark Moments” (Menart, 2017).
