AUGUSTA SENOE DAYS

Association All of our Senoe and the Museum of the Seno House invite you to the event of the Days of Augsburg Senoe, which will take place in the House of Seno from 14.11. to 13.12.2017.
The central part of this year’s event is – an exhibition of original Augustian manuscripts that have been carefully kept in the family for more than 130 years. Excuse yourself in the life of one of the greatest Croatian writers through original manuscripts by which August Senoa created some of his most famous literary achievements.
During the event of the Days of August Senoe we have prepared many interesting events that will mark the period from August’s birthday – November 14 to his death day – December 13th.

November 14, Tuesday – 17:00 hours:
• Opening of the Manuscript Exhibition Augusta Senoe on the occasion of his 179th birthday
November 15, Wednesday – 18:00
• August Šenoa and Czech – lecture by Marijan Lipovac, President of the Croatian-Czech Society
November 16th, Thursday – 18:00
• All Faces Augusta Senoe – lecture dr.sc. Vinko Brešić, literary historian
November 24, Friday – 18:00
• August Šenoa i glagoljica – lecture dr.sc. Dinner of Žubrinić about the connection between Augusta Senoe and Glagolitic
29th November, Wednesday – 18:00
• Stone Wedding – The puppeteer of the famous Šenoine povjestice in the original puppet theater from the family legacy
December 5, Tuesday – 18:00
• Milozvuk for Augusta Seno – concert of students of the Music Academy from Zagreb
9th December, Saturday – 17:00
• Talking about the story of Zlatar’s gold – the love story of the first Croatian historical novel will be told in a special way
12th of December, Tuesday – 12:00 o’clock
• I am a son of Zagreb – a sightseeing of the city of Zagreb on the roads of Augusta Senoa with the guidance of the teacher Branka
December 13th, Wednesday – 18:00
• Hommage August Seno – the Night of the Croatian Maternal in the House of Seno.
