Hari Mata Hari’s music composition was founded in autumn 1986 in Sarajevo and two years later in 1988, the band starts recording for the Zagreb Jugoton and follows a series of successful albums: I love you the most in the world in 1988, I would love to I do not like 1989, I’m afraid I do not like you in 1990, whose circulation was a record 700,000.

They are famous for the dozens of love ballads with strong local sound, which have achieved remarkable commercial success and other evergrin hits. The crown of success was the conquest of the third place at the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest in Athens with a song by Lejla, composed by Željko Joksimović.

He recorded duets with our biggest stars – Safet Isovic, Haris Džinović, Dino Merlin, Nina Badrić, Tajči, Ivan Banfić, Hankom Paldum, Halid Bešlić, Kemal Monteno, Dragan Mirković … and with the Sarajevo Philharmonic and Sevdah concerts.

In her career, Hari is turning more and more into author’s work, and her songs are also helped by the careers of other stars – Nina Badrić, Emina Jahović, Severina, Lepe Brena …

In 2008, the album “Happiness” is created, with Hari performing a children’s symphony at Koševo Stadium.

In 2016 he released a new album “Ćilim”, which brings several new hits “Old Fashioned” and “Ćilim”, which have been characterized by music critics as perhaps the best in their career.
