One strong women’s evening is set in Vintage Industrial on January 20th, when a woman for all time, Zdenka Kovčiček, takes the stage role of legendary Janis Joplin with the help of excellent vocalist Valery Nikolovska, accompanied by the Blues Company band (Branimir Bogunović – Pif git / voc, Tomas Krkač bas / voc, Krešo Randić drums and Danko Krznarić keyboards / voc) performed the greatest songs by the eternal 27-year-old Janis.

Janis Joplin has been named the best blues-rock singer in history. Even today, her recordings sound fantastic as her voice. Numerous hits have also remained popular among the public today as evidence of her wealthy career that tragically ended in 1970.

Her music will be shown at the concert of Zdenka Kovačiček who has a similar career as Janis because she was also proclaimed our best rock-jazz singer. Zdenka starred in about a dozen lonely Love Janis, in Comedy and in guest performances, popularizing her music and reinterpreting the audience for her hits. Her legendary interpretation of the song Klik teme no. 1, performed at the Boom Festival along with the Nirvana group in 1973, and was performed in the style of Janis Joplin.

Janis Joplin was initially a singer of the Big Brother & Holding Company, and later worked independently. Her version of the song “Me and my Boby Mcgee” has made it to the top of the American top-singles charts.

They presented her as a whitewash with a black voice. Her model was the black queen Bessie Smith, the greatest jazz and blues singer of all time who had also tragically died on September 26, 1937 after a car accident and blood loss, for refusing to accept it at a nearby white hospital.

Janis Lyn Joplin was born on 19 January 1943 in St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur, US state of Texas. Janis had her brother Michaela and sister Laura. Janis was a retired girl and she did not like to play with the kids from the neighborhood.

Because of her inability to fit and meet the expectations of the conservative community there, Janis has already experienced many traumas, difficulties and dissatisfaction that will accompany her during her life. She attended high school Thomas Jefferson High School, where she was most interested in art subjects, especially painting.

Already at age 17 she decided to become a singer, and after school she worked as a waitress in a local bowling alley to earn money for a map in California. He spent his free time with his street friends Jim Lang and Grant Lyon, who first met the blues world.

The best dying young people – so roughly the popular rock ‘n’ roll proverb. Janis Joplin counts in Club 27, a musician who passed away when he was 27 years old.
