This year, we dedicate a traditional donation concert to the School of deaf “Stefan Dečanski” from Belgrade, the largest and oldest institution of this type in Serbia and the region, which will celebrate 120 years of existence and work.
On Thursday, November 29 at 8 pm at the Atelje 212 theater, we continue with the concerts in the field of social responsibility. The Donor Concert at the Atelje 212 theater is a continuation of attention to the problems of marginalized groups.
The total income from the sale of tickets will be donated for the purpose of collecting funds for the installation and arrangement of the sensory garden in the School for deaf “Stefan Decanski” from Belgrade. School for deaf “Stefan Decanski” is located in Belgrade, Svetozara Markovica 85 Street, Savski venac municipality.
“The primary activity of the school is the upbringing and education of deaf and hard of hearing, children and youth with other developmental disorders and / or associated disorders.
The school’s activities include: early intervention program, rehabilitation program for children with cochlear implants, preschool education, primary and secondary education, as well as specialist education and adult education. Recognizing the importance of this dedicated garden for the overall development of children and pupils and its rehabilitation, therapeutic and educational character for children with sensory and other difficulties in development, we launched the action with the unselfish help of the Atelje 212 Theater which gave us all the capacities for the concert to be realized on the highest level, “says Vladimir Dekic, director of the KOLO Ensemble.
