Plastic Sunday & The Filters @ Feedback
Plastic Sunday was created in 2010 and their musical expression ranges from garage rock and roll through psychedelia and indie sound with noise effects. Web Magazine Popboks claims they are the best debutants in 2010. They have three albums, including the first two “Razum Traži Razloge” and “Komunikacija” recorded in the production house Digimedia with producer Goran Crevar. A large number of singles from these albums were found at the very top of many top charts in the country (Diskomer, Jelen Top 10, Popboks’s list of domestic singles, Pop Radio B92, etc.). At the beginning of November 2017. after a longer studio break, they announce their third edition “Svetlost u tebi” for the Lampshade Media label, which was recorded at the studio “Šamarčina” in Vrbas with Robert Titcher the guitarist of Veliki Prezir and Partibrejkers.
Plastic Sunday held nearly a hundred concerts in various clubs throughout the country and region (Belgrade, Nis, Novi Sad, Subotica, Zajecar, Maribor, Skopje, Kumanovo, Kruševac, Podgorica, Črnomelj etc.) and performances at numerous festivals (Exit, Nisomnia, Jelen Demofest, Ghetto in Zajecar, Balkan Streets Festival, Bedem Fest, performance at Usce before Depeche Mode, Live at DOB, Garage Fire Campus Fest, Cicvara Fest in Neum, etc.).
The Filters is new age rock, new wave rock, dark rock, alternative rock band (categorize as you like, that is, among other things, not so important), formed in January 2016, when they find an adequate shelter in BIGZ. The filters had several successful performances in Belgrade, highlights being Petak and Kvaka 22. They were the finalists of the Bunt Rock Festival in 2017.
