On the occasion of the International Day without shopping *, on November 28, the CK13 invites you to join in the solidarity exchange and express a protesting attitude towards the strengthening of consumerism and consumer culture.
Anyone who wants to take something he needs or leave what he no longer needs can do it in the Free Store or Exchange Cabin.
Thanks to these points in the CK13, we can jointly exchange everything that we no longer need, and someone else could be useful or interesting. No money, no store. Everything is free!
These can be items for household, clothing and footwear, books, toys, tools, cosmetics, computer equipment, and food.
Solidarity exchanges function on the principle of taking and / or leaving.
You come and bring some useful and useful thing you no longer use, and you might need someone else. You take what you need or interest.
Each of us in his closets, on attics and in the basements has things that he no longer needs, which could be useful or interesting to someone else. Therefore, do not throw them away.
Get involved in a solid exchange!
……………………………………..
Free shop / Exchange exchange is not a charity, but a socially and politically motivated project, or a form of constructive direct action and a practical critique of capitalism and consumerism, and a money-free exchange model of an alternative economy that rely on solidarity, cooperation and the use of existing potentials in the community, which simultaneously has a positive impact on urban sustainability through reducing waste generation and dumping unwanted items.
Free shop / Exchange exchange functions as an alternative to capitalist mode of distribution and exchange of goods, as well as consumer culture, calling for mutual solidarity and the boycott of consumerism imposed by consumer society.
* The goal of marking the Day without buying is to divert public attention to the need to abolish market logic where the goal of each activity is profit. Throughout the world, thousands of organizations on this day represent alternatives to the capitalist way of thinking with the intention of uniting citizens and minimizing the sense of alienation in big cities. The idea is to encourage citizens to reflect on real interpersonal values that involve the joint sharing of basic resources for life, such as food and clothing, as well as securing them through a rational and sustainable relationship with the limited resources of the planet Earth.
