The Tanguango Quintet was founded in 2013 with the cooperation and support of the Tango Natural Institute in Belgrade, consisting of young academic artists Sonja Lukić (piano), Jelena Adamović (violin), Ljubica Damčević (violin, vocals), Dušica Luković (accordion) and Nevena Stanić (double bass), with the cooperation and support of the Tango Natural Institute from Belgrade.
Tango music began to work even in high school days playing in the Tango Juventud orchestra, under the conductor band bandoneonist and professor Aleksandar Nikolić. Already in 2007 with the aforementioned orchestra they won the 1st prize at the competition in the Italian city of Castelfidardo, in the music category of Astor Piazzole. After that, their careers are developed separately. However, several years later, the winner of numerous music awards individual form TJ quintet “Tanguango” which in addition to the music of Astor Piazzolla performed and traditional tango track composer Carlos Gardel, Anibal Troilo, Osvaldo Puljesea, Francisco Kanara …
Among the many performances stand out performances at BELEF Festival “Belgrade Tango Encuentro”, “Montenegro summer tango camp”, “Tango neutral weekend,” the House of Trade Unions, SKC, Pavilion Zuzoric mixer Tango Festival, KULT, as and solo concerts at the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the “Guarneirus”, the Center for Fine Arts, Jovan Kolundzija.
