The Old WolfBad Squad Connoisseurs The Underground Youth come again to melt the Moorish Walls with their unique post-punk atmosphere and present us the latest album “What Kind Of Dystopian Hellhole Is This?” (2017) in the Fuzz Club Records release.
The Underground Youth founded Craig Dyer in Manchester in 2008 as a solo project full of DIY ethics and influences from the world of literature, poetry and film. Soon after, the band joins the visual artist and designer Olya Dyer (drums), Max James (bass, previously played in Johnny Marra), and recently replaced by Mark Vernon (guitar) Leonard Kaage.
To date, they have released a fantastic number of seven albums and 3 EPs, each of which crosses the different sound paths of the dark psychedelic landscape with shoegaze, blues and postpunk.
The Underground Youth is almost on tour all over Europe so they have created a fairly large fan base recognizing them as a live band whose energies and contagious melodies bring a unique and beautiful concert experience. Absolutely worth the extraordinary performances of the Liverpool Psych Festival, Cosmosis and Eindhoven Psych Labu.
