The star of the latest Twin Peaks episodes and muse of David Lynch, a talented musician, actress and model – Chysta Bell, is coming to Belgrade with her band, within their autumn tour where they promote new album “We Dissolve”.

Chrysta Bell & David Lynch BEAT THE BEAT

In Twin Peaks, C.B. appears as an FBI agent, Tammy Preston, and, of course, like all of Lynch’s diva, looks like a real femme fatale.
Nevertheless, Chrysta Bell is not only a beautifull diva, she is also a talented musician, so the critic of the magazine NME described her last album in a colorful way: “Like Lana Del Rey singing the song of Sergio Ganesbourg.”
Her music belongs to the genre described as “dreamy pop”, but on her new album, there is also a strong influence of the Bristol scene and compositions such as Massive Attack or Portishead, and jazz and soul lovers will also be pleased by her performance.
After two records she made with David Lynch, this time she works with John Perish, ho stood behind the brilliant PJ Harvey album, as well as Sparklehorse and Giant Sand, so consequently has a much more eclectic sound than before.
Besides Chrysta who sings and plays the guitar, and whose preformance David Lynch described with words “She looks and sings like a dream, a dream that comes true” …, the band is composed of Christopher Smart – bass guitar and vocals, Henson Col – guitar and Jayson Altman – drums.
Chryrsta Bell and her band will perform at the Cultural Center Grad, on Thursday, November 30, at 21h, within the musical part of the Paralel Festival.
