U toj postavi snimaju dva studijska i jedan live album (sve za Alive Records) i postaju jedna od najtraženijih američkih garažnih atrakcija do kraja prve decenije 21. veka svirajući širom SAD, Evrope i Australije.
Pored matičnog, James svira svoj instrument i peva u Cut In The Hill Gang, još jednom važnom američkom garage/blues/punk sastavu nastalom na pepelu Soledad Brothers.
Po raspadu Black Diamond Heavies (2009.) James Leg radi na prvom solo albumu „Solitary Pleasure“ (opet renomirani Alive Records, 2011.) koji prolazi zapaženo među poklonicima Black Diamond Heavies i ljubiteljima svih podžanrova garažnog rokenrola. Duboki, hrapavi vokal i topli, a zastrašujući tonovi klavira čijim dirkama kao u transu lete njegovi prsti zaštitni su znak ovog južnjačkog gospodina. Obrada rokenrol heroja Linka Wraya (Fire And Brimstone) i obrada hita u Americi anonimnih Australijanaca Kill Devil Hills (Drinking Too Much) pored devet sopstvenih pesama potvrđuju Legov dobar izbor da se popuni jedan pristojan solo prvenac i krene sa utabavanjem staze nastavka rokerske karijere.
2012. sa kolegama sa Alive Records etikete, Left Lane Cruiser, snima album „Painkillers“. Deset blues obrada (od Roberta Johnsona do Rolling Stonesa) odsviranih/otpevanih na srčani, garage/blues način kako se i očekivalo od ove garažne super-grupe učinili su da se ploča na kraju 2012. nađe visoko kotirana na dobrom broju garage/rock/blues lista.
U septembru 2015. objavio je drugi solo album za Alive Records pod nazivom “Below The Belt”. Ploča je snimljena u studiju Johnnyja Walkera (Soledad Brothers i Cut In The Hill Gang), a miks je uradio Jim Diamond u legendarnom Ghetto Recorders (White Stripes, Andre Williams, Dirtbombs, Left Lane Cruiser, The Sonics…). Ta ploča u tandemu sa višemesečnim turnejama koje su usledile po Evropi i SAD 2015. i 2016. raširili su priču o razbacanom, istetoviranom baji koji ubija boga u Fender Rhodes klaviru.
2016. izlazi “Blood On The Keys” (Alive Records), remek-delo šefa električnog klavira koji pod njegovim prstima zvuči kao Hendriksova gitara. Leg istražuje kroz različite stilove od očekivanog pulsirajućeg bugivugija i garaž rok momenata za headbanging, do soula sporog tempa i usputnom stankom u možda najveći hit do sada St. Michel Shuffle sa sve violinama, orkestrom i vidnim tragovima istočno-evropske ciganske muzike.
Mačo pijanista đavoljeg glasa vraća se u Beograd krajem maja. Prati ga samo bubnjar, baš kao iz Black Diamond Heavies dana što jasno govori o tome da će se na repertoaru naći i hitovi iz te faze karijere, kao i po nekoliko iz saradnje sa Cut In The Hill Gang i Left Lane Cruiser.

John Wesley Myers aka James Leg has been one of the most intriguing garage-rock leaders for years. The first of the more famous bands in which they appeared were The Immortal Lee County Killers, whose breakdown was formed by Black Diamond Heavies in 2004, a trio in which he was also guitarist and drummer beside him in electric piano and vocals. Guitarist Mark „Porkchop“ Holder leaves the band and the remaining 2/3 states that they are thinking how to proceed further where they make a completely correct decision – without a guitar! Until then, there were two bands, but it was always guitars and drums, and with the new Black Diamond Heavies, they introduced a new moment in the formation of the rock and roll band: electric piano / vocals + drums.
In that post, they record two studio and one live album (all for Alive Records) and become one of the most sought after US garage attractions by the end of the first decade of the 21st century playing throughout the US, Europe and Australia.
In addition to the home, James plays his instrument and sings at Cut In The Hill Gang, another important American garage / blues / punk band formed on the Soledad Brothers Ash.
After the break-up of Black Diamond Heavies (2009), James Leg is working on the solo album „Solitary Pleasure“ (again renowned Alive Records, 2011), which is seen among the fans of the Black Diamond Heavies and fans of all subgenres of the garage rocker. Deep, rugged vocals and warm, and terrifying pianos of tune with whose fingers, as in his trance, his fingers are a protective sign of this southern gentleman. In September 2015 he released another solo album for Alive Records called „Below The Belt“. The leg explores through the different styles of the expected pulsating buggy and the garage of the moment for the headbanging, to the soulless slow pace and by-step break in perhaps the biggest hit so far. Michel Shuffle with all the violins, orchestra and visual traces of Eastern European gypsy music.
The devil’s piano man’s piano returns to Belgrade in late May. It’s followed by a drummer, just like the Black Diamond Heavies on the day that clearly shows that the repertoire will also feature hits from that phase of the career, as well as several in collaboration with Cut In The Hill Gang and Left Lane Cruiser.
The concert will be held on Saturday, May 26 at KC Grad, starting at exactly 21:00 !!
