Terence Fixmer
In a career that spans two decades, Terence Fixmer reached worldwide recognition with the release of his debut album Muscle Machine on DJ Hell’s seminal International Deejay Gigolos imprint in 1999. The album opened a whole new genre by combining Electro, Industrial, EBM and Techno into a more dance floor-focused EBM style, simply called ‘’Techno Body Music’’. Tracks like “Electrostatic”, “Body Pressure” or “Electric Vision” today remain modern classics. Ever since the release of this groundbreaking debut LP, the French producer and live act has consistently explored and redefined the boundaries of modern Techno – and he is not slowing down.
In 2003 Fixmer teamed up with Nitzer Ebb’s lead singer Douglas McCarthy to form Fixmer/McCarthy – their partnership pushed the genre of Techno EBM to the maximum, resulting in two full-length albums, Between The Devil (2004) and Into The Night (2008).
In the years to come, Fixmer experimented with increasingly deep and dubby atmospheres and finally re-invented himself with his fourth solo album on Speedy J´s label Electric Deluxe in 2010.
Comedy Of Menace is a true Techno album: dark, hypnotic and energetic. It has often been quoted that Terence Fixmer´s music maintains musical depth and integrity, even in a club – or festival -context, and that it appeals as much to dancing feet as it does to the searching soul. His fifth solo album Depth Charged (CLR, 2015) proved this claim with certainty and excellence just like his releases on Ostgut Ton – Beneath The Skin EP (2016) and Force EP (2017), or his work as a commissioned remixer, most recently for Depeche Mode and DJ Hell. Terence Fixmer’s sound deftly avoids repetition by developing soundscapes which maintain musical depth and integrity. He above all preserves an original style, an increasingly experimental, simultaneously ruthless and instantly recognizable aesthetic.
Čovek sa karijerom dugom dve decenije. Terens Fiksmer je internacionalno priznanje stekao objavom svog debi albuma Muscle Machine za Dj Hell-ov prvobitni lejbl – „International Dj Gigolos“ 1999.
Kombinujuci Electro, Industrial EBM (electronic body music) sa tehnom, album je doneo potpuno nov žanr nazvan- Techno Body Music. Trake poput Electrostatic, Body Pressure ili Electric Vision danas spadaju u moderne klasike. Od objave ovog revolucionarnog LP-a, francuski produncent konstantno istražuje i redefiniše granice modernog tehna. Godine 2003. Fiksmer zajedno sa frontmenom grupe „Nitzer Ebb“ Daglasom Mek Kartijem formira Fiksmer – Mc Carty duo, saradnju koja ce izroditi dva albuma – Between the Devil 2004. i Into the Night 2006. godine koji ce do maksimuma promovisati novi žanr Techno EBM. Godine 2010. Fiksmer nam donosi svoj četvrti solo album pod okriljem Speedz J – ovog lejbla „Electric Deluxe“. Comedy of Meance – pravi tehno album: mračan, energičan i apsolutno hipnotišući. Fiksmerova muzika zadržava muzičku dubinu i integritet kako u klubskoj tako i u festivalskoj atmosferi. Ljudi kažu da njegova muzika prija duši koja se traži koliko i stopalima koja plešu. Ovu tvrdnju savršeno dokazuje njegov peti solo album Depth Changed (CRI 2015), kao i objave za Osgut Ton – Beneath the skin (EP 2016) i Force (EP 2017).
Fiksmerov zvuk lukavo izbegava repeticiju stvarajući muzicke pejzaže koji zadržavaju dubinu i integritet. On pre svega neguje svoj originalni stil nemilosrdne estetike koji prepoznajemo već na prvo slušanje.
Remco Beekwilder
Fairly new to the scene, but already way ahead of his game, Remco Beekwilder is taking the world by storm. The Dutch dj/producer has been releasing EP’s steadily on imprints such as Stranger’s Self Reflektion and Binary Cells over these past three years, while also playing gigs all around Europe. With his energetic and deep sound, clearly rooted in techno, Beekwilder has already marked his own place in the scene.
His monumental LSD EP got released on Dax J’s Monnom Black label and shows his diversity and capability as a producer, with four tracks that reflect his artistry perfectly. Beekwilder’s 10th Planet EP (June 2016) on Stranger’s Self Reflektion label gained huge support from artists (Dax J, Marcel Dettmann, Luke Slater, Rebekah, and Dave Clarke) and fans alike. Basement Tools EP on the same label got support from artists like Ben Sims, Paul Mac, NX1, MTD and Viktoria amongst others. In February of this year, he released the State of Return EP on Binary Cells, which was categorized by Hard wax as ‘Excellent, spaced out, metallic techno pressure’.
Next to producing Beekwilder has been playing at different places in Europe like Paris, Berlin, London, Lyon, Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Gaining more support with every show he plays.
Iako je nov na sceni, Remko svojim talentom vec osvaja svet. Holandski dj/producent je tokom protekle tri godine izdavao albume za kuće poput “Stranger’s Self Reflektion” i “Binary Cells” dok u isto vreme nastupa širom Evrope. Energičnim i dubokim tehno zvucima Bikvajlder je već osigurao svoje mesto na sceni
Njegov najbitniji album LSD pod produkcijskom kucom Dax J-a „Monnom Black” sa četiri trake, savršeno oslikava njegov umetnički opus i pokazuje raznolikost njegove producentske sposobnosti. Bikvajderov album “10th Planet” (Jun 2016) pod „Self Reflektion“ potpisom dobija ogromnu podršku od strane drugih umetnika kao što su: Dax J, Marcel Dettmann, Luke Slater, Rebekah, Dave Clarke i vernih fanova. Album “Basement Tools” pod istom kućom dobija podršku od strane Ben Sims-a, Paul Mac-a, NX1, MTD i mnogih drugih. U Februaru ove godine izdao je album “State of Return” pod producentskom palicom Binary Cells-a.
Pored produciranja Bikvajlder nastupa u različitim gradovima Evrope: Parizu, Berlinu, Lionu, Roterdamu i Amsterdamu, gde svakim nastupom stiče sve veću podršku.
