Miad is inviting you to join him on Monday May 6th, to enjoy the tastes and smells of Persian cuisine at 7 o’clock pm at KC Grad.
This time, our cook Miad will be preparing Adas Polow – Basmati Rice with Lentils and ground beef. It is a Mediterranean traditional dish and is believed to be originated in ancient Persia. Adas Plow is a delicious combination of saffron rice layered with lentils and a topping with ground beef and onions. However, some people prepare the topping without adding the ground beef and serve it as a vegetarian dish. You cannot find this meal in all Iranian restaurants, it’s a homemade traditional food.
Our cook: Miad Nakhavali
“I’m Miad from Iran, currently living and studying in Belgrade. I’m a student of International politics but I’ve always been in love with cooking! My father is a cook in his own charity in Iran and I used to be his assistant in the kitchen so I was raised surrounded by Persian spices and flavors! Join me on this little journey through flavors of Persia!”
The cost of one meal is 200 RSD.
