Using acrobatic rope and self-adhesive foil, Laura sets out her own body experiences in the midst of an anecdotal tapestry of observing body hair on public transportation and discussing lesbian sex at Sunday lunch. Dark, humorous and uncompromising, Contra examines the personal, social and historical viewpoint of the female body and literally examines where such bodies are positioned and how they should be viewed. Expect nudity scenes and explicit references to mythical reptiles and female sexuality.
