Welcome to 5th Jewels of Asia – festival that celebrates cultural and dance diversity of Asian continent.

The highlight of our festival is Jewels of Asia – Gala show. This show has a unique concept – to gather artists from the region who are devoted to preserving Asian dance styles and present them to the Belgradian audience.

We give you 5 reasons why you simply cannot miss this experience:
1. International list of dancers and troupes from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia and Bulgaria
2. Dances from India, Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Turkey, Afganistan, Iran…and many more countries
3. Various dance styles – from ancient classical forms, with numerous traditional and folklore numbers to modern melodies and contemporary fusions
4. High-level performances, adjusted for the big stage, and colourful authentic costumes – each number will take you on a short journey to a different Asian country
5. Show hosts to guide you through the whole experience – you will be introduced to the background of each dance in order to completely absorb the performance

The festival also includes 5 dance workshops with guest teachers Jana Mankoc and Katya Tosheva and, for the first time ever in Serbia – Open stage: Indian styles only. Open stage show will unite dancers from Europe, broaden Indian dancers’ network and gift a very special treat for those who love Indian culture.
