Synthwave, Retral, Outrun. These are all names for a kind of music that faithfully, and sometimes somewhat distorted, conveys the aesthetics and atmosphere of action films from the ’80s, as well as video games from the same period.

In the first episode, we will listen to songs that define the elements of this genre, synthwave roots, and tracks that show where synthwave is today, 10 years since its inception.
