SNTS first surfaced in late 2012. He was behind two record trilogies, Chapters and Scenes, issued through his selftitled label, and also earned appearances on Horizontal Ground and Edit Select Records.
Techno is well known for taking inspiration from cold, harsh environments. The genre is perfectly complementary to the ideas of Gothicism and Brutalism, and none so much as the albums of the enigmatic German producer, SNTS.
In his performances, SNTS showscases knack for creating a dark ambience – it is easy to imagine oneself wandering through barren, crumbling cathedral ruins, mist billowing out of hidden crevices, whilst a malevolent presence lurks just out of sight in the shadows. We all witnessed that epic performance at his Exit festival and we are hungry for more!
