King of Spanish flamenco Visente Amigo on March 12th in Belgrade!

The world’s best flamenco guitarist Visente Amigo will leave the concert on March 12 at the Kombank Hall within the jubilee 20th Guitar Art Festival. Tickets for the big concert of Visente Amiga are sold at the Kombank Hall and in the sales networks Tickets.rs ex Eventim.rs, at the price of 2,200 to 3,400, while a limited number of VIP tickets at a price of 4,800 dinars are on sale. In his career, Amigo visited Belgrade several times, and the previous two concerts were a sale. After exactly ten years, Visente Amigo returns to Belgrade and will perform on March 12, 2019 at the Kombank Hall within the 20th Guitar Art Festival, and this will be an opportunity for the audience to premiere the number from the current album “Memoria de los sentidos”. The album on which Amiga returned to its traditional flamenco roots and brought together top flamenco artists such as Potito, El Pele, Miguel Poveda, Pedro el Granaino and Niña Pastori. Visente paid great tribute to his teacher and friend Pako de Lucia on the album Requiem on the album. Visente Amigo is now considered the world’s best flamenco guitarist and authentic successor to the great Pac de Lucia, who himself stands out as his greatest role model.
Amigo has so far released eight studio albums and participated in a number of releases, and in addition to superior technique, he distinguishes contemporaryity in musical expression, through which he successfully crosses the genre boundaries, gaining a reputation among the broad audience. In addition to the highly successful albums “Ciudad de las Ideas” and “Un Momento en el Sonido”, the audience remembers Amiga and from the very popular “Flamenco Chill” compilation.
He collaborated with renowned names such as Alehandro Sanz, Kaled, or Miguel Bose, and with Sting recorded a big hit “Send Your Love”. He has performed with the greatest contemporary guitarists such as Pako de Lucia, Al Di Meola, John McLaughin, and even with rock names such as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Kit Richard and Bob Dylan.
Among many others, Amigo also won the Grammy Award for the best flamenco album in 2001, and the prestigious magazine “Guitar Player” declared him the world’s best flamenco guitarist the same year. Visente Amigo is today one of the most powerful guitarists in the world, and his concerts and reactions to the audience are usually explosive.
Past concerts in Belgrade in 2005 and 2009, Amigo also held within the Guitar Art Festival, and appeared before the sold out showrooms, when the audience had the opportunity to meet this great master of flamenco guitar.
