Sa više od 80 izdanja iza sebe za lejblove kao što su Dance Mania Records,Ovum Recordings, Compost Records, Clone Records, kao i brojne drige, ostavio je dubok trag na plesnoj sceni današnjice. Rodonačelnik je celog hip-house muzičkog pravca.

jedan od članova sastava Samanta Fox, rezident čuvenog berlinskog klubaSalon – Zur wilden Renate i deo kolektiva OYE Record Store -a.
Berlinska scena ga odlično poznaje i po serijalu žurki „Whiskey Tango Foxtroitt“ koje vodi sa svojim kolegom Jean-Daniel Tomor-om.. Aktivna saradnja sa različitim muzičarima učinila je da Gizzie stvori prepoznatljiv stil i mnoge druge projekte, među kojima je i The Vandelays.
