Big Bend Radio-televizije Srbije, nastavlja seriju koncerata u godini jubileja , 70 godina od osnivanja ovog eminentnog orkestra, koncertom u studio 6 Radio Beograda, u ponedeljak, 26. marta, sa početkom u 20 časova.
Posebno odabranim kompozicijama i aranžmanima iz opusa legendarnog Djuk Elingtona (Duke Ellington), predstavljamo omaž njegovom stvaralaštvu i umetničkom pečatu u džez muzici.
Djuk Elington (Duke Ellington), je bio „pionir“ i inovator u džez muzici, posebno kao kompozitor i Big bend lider. Kao pijanista, takođe, ostavio je upečatljiv stilski izražaj, i generacije sledbenika do današnjih dana.
Big Bend RTS-a, kompozicijama, kao što su “Satin Doll“, „Take The A Train“, „Cotton Tail“, „Solitude i Sophisticated Lady“…, kreira reminiscenciju na velikog umetnika, njegov bogati opus i džez muziku kao posebnu umetnost dvadesetog veka.
