Promoter andergraund kulture, DJ i producent – Lag je jedan od predstavnika novog talasa tehno umetnika.
Lako je iz njegovog zvuka primetiti da muzički put kojim je koračao nije uobičajen. Odrastavši na panku i zatim stekavši edukaciju u oblasti klasične muzike, Lag ipak pronalazi sebe u elektronskoj muzici, pre svega zbog velikih mogućnosti izražavanja kroz DJing, ali i kroz stvaranje autorskih numera. Odabrao je tehno kao platformu za svoje kreativno pražnjenje, ali je zadržao svoje prethodne uticaje prisutne i u novom zvuku koji generiše – sirovost, kompleksan ritam i upečatljiv stav njegovi su glavni alati, i njihovom implementacijom u muziku on stvara potentnu kombinaciju koja opčinjava, pokreće i ujedinjuje.
Lagovi nastupi na Exitovoj glavnoj DJ bini, kao i nastup u legendarnom Berlinskom klubu Tresor, govore mnogo o njegovoj sposobnosti da drži pažnju publike i pruži joj intenzivno sonično iskustvo. Kroz organizaciju brojnih DJ žurki i radionica pod okriljem svoje organizacije 29524 Lag je ulagao napore da smanji razliku između „kvalitetnog“ i „poznatog“. Premeštajući svoju pažnju sa promotivnih aktivnosti na muziku, on stvara promenu koja rezultira ekstremno funkcionalnim DJ setovima, ali i sve primećenijom autorskom muzikom. Posle nekoliko pojavljivanja na raznim izdanjima, pre svega na domaćem lejblu Teskoba, njegov remiks Grvoskopine numere „Atopic“ pojavljuje se na vinilu u okviru lejbla Sect Records. Logičan nastavak je njegov prvi EP pod imenom „Stutter“ koji izlazi na Singularity Recordingsu, lebjlu poznatom po beskompromisnosti, a njegovim najnovijim izdanjima pod nazivima “Misfit EP” i “Fiend EP”, izdatom na vinilu u okviru MORD Recordingsa, naglašava kvalitet i unikatnost njegovog već prepoznatljivog zvuka.

Lag odlučno nastavlja svoju misiju, a njegova vizija još uvek ne tinja. Nemilosrdna determinacija kojom odiše izaziva strahopoštovanje, i, zajedno sa njegovim muzičkim sposobnostima, predstavlja glavni razlog za njegovu rastuću popularnost. Promoter of the underground culture, a DJ and a respected producer – Serbian-born Lag is the on the forefront of the new wave of techno artists.
It is easy to notice from his sound that he did not take the usual route on his musical journey. He grew up on punk, acquired a classical education in music and then quit it all to find himself enchanted by the possibilities of expressing oneself both through DJing and making electronic music. He chose techno to be the host for his creative discharge, while always incorporating a certain dosage of his previous musical life to his current work. Grit, rhythm and attitude are his main tools as he blends them into his music, creating a potent combination that enchants, moves and unifies.
Lag’s DJ performances on the Exit festival’s main DJ stage, and the legendary Tresor club speak volumes of his ability to engage his crowd, and offer an intense sonic experience. Through his DJ sets, as well as through workshops and events he organized and promoted under the umbrella of his organization 29524, Lag put efforts into closing the gap between the “good” and the “known”. Since then his promotional activities have reduced, and his focus moved to delivering extremely functional DJ sets, but also on creating and releasing original music, mostly in the techno genre. After several appearances and releases, predominantly on the Serbian label Teskoba, his remix of Grovskopa’s “Atopic” is released on vinyl by Sect Records. He follows it up with his first EP named “Stutter”, a highly acclaimed release which came out on the notoriously uncompromising Singularity Recordings, and his latest outputs, 12” releases on MORD Records named “Misfit EP” and „Fiend EP“, underline the quality and uniqueness of his already recognizable sound.
Lag is set to stay on his current path as his mission, his initial vision, is yet to flicker. His ruthless determination is awe inspiring, and is, along with his musical prowess, the main reason for his rising popularity. Lag is definitely someone to keep an eye on, but more importantly – someone to listen to. After all, as he frequently states, “it’s all about the music”.

Kad je u pitanju produkcija Federiko je poznat po mracnoj strukturi koja je sklop dron, industrijskog tehna, noise muzike, skroz do neo-klasicnih i ambijentalnih zvukova.
Vlasnik je Skarn Division etikete, eksperimentalnog projekta koji je umesan u prva tri izdanja velikih imena u industrijskoj muzici kao sto su:
Positive Centre, Plukkk, Yuuki Sakai, Takaaki Itoh,
Dj Surgeles, Lucindo, Paul Birken, Hypnoskull, Ryuji Takeuchi,

Dark, raw and sharp is what defines Federico’s identity as a producer. With an explosion of intense industrial sounds,
roughly distorted, fast-paced and metallic beats is the style with which the mysterious producer Federico Amoroso plays every of his DJ or live sets.
