The Belgrade Wine Salon (BWS) is a symbol of the wine culture and the most significant wine event in Serbia, which gives an annual insight into the local and regional wine scene to professionals and wine lovers and represents an authentic overview of the Serbian wine market. (www.bsv.rs)
In the past fifteen years, BWS has brought together all leading wine producers from Serbia and the region, as well as a significant number of well-known European wineries. Every year, several thousand professionals and wine lovers have the opportunity to taste more than 600 different wines, at wine-tasting events held as a part of BWS Main and Side Programs.
Exceptionally eventful Side Program is also a trademark of the Belgrade Wine Salon. The main objective of thematically oriented and substantial workshops is to provide further education for the wine audience. At 30 different professionally guided wine tasting events with numerous attendees, participants have the opportunity to learn more about wine regions, grape varieties, different types and styles of wine, the trends in wine production and the wine market, as well as to learn about different philosophies of winemakers.
Since 2016, BWS has also hosted “Wine Masters” – an exclusive rare wine sales and tasting event for 200 professional and private buyers. This year, the 4th Wine Masters will be held on December 5th, in the period 17.00-21.00h. And, since 2017, “Distillery Masters” had been organized as a special event, featuring the best producers of brandy and importers of premium spirits. The 3rd Distillery Masters will be held on December 7th, in the period 14.00-21.00h.
