“Belgrade Trilogy” is a drama created by the text Biljana Srbljanovic. She devoted this piece to young people from her country. The “Belgrade Trilogy” puts on the wallpaper always the topic of departure from the country. Performing on the stage of three generations of young, capable, smart and honest people, we play in front of us their fates and asks a series of questions. Why have they been trying to escape from here for three decades? And what awaits them when they escape? Why is it best to leave this country to the rest of every generation? If they left, who remained here? Who are they needed and who they are not? Is the lack of a system that we all complain about actually systematically and deliberately disabling normal youth to be happy in our own country? In the end, can I be happy in another place at all?
