Zagreb, November 7, 2017 – Cirque du Soleil Tour inspired by AVATAR (Cameron). TORUK – The First Flight, will be performed at Arena Zagreb from December 7 to December 9, 2018, as part of a global tour that visits arenas all over the world.
Performance
Inspired by James Cameron’s AVATAR film, TORQUE – The First Year will bring you to the world of Pandora through a visually stunning scenery. Experience the fairytale live through a new world of imagination, discoveries and opportunities.
Through a superb combination of the most contemporary visual, puppet and theater elements, and grandiose scenery, fueled by enormous cinematic success, Cirque du Soleil conjures up the fantastic fictional world of James Cameron with its unique exquisite style, linking two related artistic visions into a spectacle that inspires imagination.
This colorful experience is accompanied by the clear signature of directors and multimedia innovators Michel Lemieux and Victor Pilon. It is vividly revived by the coherent coexistence of the people of Na’vi with nature, and their belief in the fundamental interconnection of all living beings.
Recognized by the “Na’vi Privđača”, TORUK – The First Flight is a mythological story whose action was set up thousands of years before the events shown in the AVATAR film, before any man ever walked on Pandora.
When the holy tree of the soul confronts a natural disaster, Ralu and Entu, two young men from the Omaticaya tribe, fearlessly decide to take things into their own hands. Knowing that Toruk, a mighty red-orange predator that rules Pandora’s sky can help in their mission to save the Tree of Soul, they move on to the high-floating mountains to find it. The prophecy will be fulfilled when the pure soul elevates among the clans and takes Torah in order to save Na’vi from the terrible and tragic fate that threatens them.

Tickets for all performances will be pre-sale for members of the Cirque Club, starting on November 7, 2017. at 10 o’clock. Public ticket sale starts on November 9, 2017. at 10 o’clock. TORUK – The First Flight App
