An inspiring mix of guitarist Dusan Jevtovic with Vasil Hadzimanov’s pianist and drummer Paja Milutinovic with guests, he was stretched out by the skill of specific improvisation. Last year we had the opportunity to listen to them on the promotion of the release of the new album “No Answer”
The cooperation between Vasil and Dushan comes after several months of talks on projects, music and everything that is unique to the life of musicians in the world today. Dusan Jevtovic has made a real boom on the world jazz / progrock scene in the last couple of years with his latest release Am I Walking Wrong, released for the New York publisher Moonjune Records. The album is critically accepted around the world with over a hundred excellent reviews in all relevant magazines, blogs, and web sites in charge of jazz and progressive music. As a professional musician, he performs and records all over the world. He teaches at several academies in Barcelona.
Vasil Hadzimanov is known for his work in his VHB band for almost two decades, working on film, theater music. A world class musician capable of adapting to every situation and genre and leaving his distinctive seal. Audiences in the region, in recent months, had the opportunity to hear with her band and guest, the famous New York saxophonist David Biney. With these performances, a new edition of the VH band is being prepared.
This time she will perform with the help of Paja Milutinovic on drums. In recent years, Peja has been the most successful jazz musician in our country. Known to the audience for energy and the experience to which he can envy his much older colleagues. Peđa is a permanent member of VH band, as well as Qzama Quartet, Schima tri.
Special guest at the concert will be Robindro Nikolić on the clarinet. After graduating from the Mokranjac Music School in Belgrade, at the age of 20 he went to study classical music at the University of Mocarteum Salzburg – Austria, where he lived and worked for eight years. Since the epicenter of the old German and Austrian classical and romantic schools and after the Baroque city, Salzburg has left a clear mark on its music education as something entirely different, but complementary to Serbian and Indian heritage. Its repertoire includes jazz, mediterranean and middle eastern music, Indian music , Klesmer, Eastern European music, ancient music and, above all, classical and contemporary music. After several years of studying classical music and keeping in touch with other music genres, he was fortunate to enter the Verbier UBS Orchestra and Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra, and has the opportunity to Performs with artists such as Zubin Mehta, Charles Dutoit, Esa Pekka Salonen, Mikhail Pletnev, Sir Andrew Davis, Manfred Honeck, Dennis Russell Davies, Gabor Takacs-Nagi Marta Argerich, Anne-Sophie Mutter, Evgeni Kissin, Sisters Labekue and many others. The season ended with a tour of the USA and Europe with Marta Argerich and Charles Dutoit (Hall Avery Fisher Lincoln Center – Nev Iork, Concert Hall Valt Disney – Los Angeles, Harris Theater – Chicago, Jones Hall – Houston, Teatro Carlo Felice – Genoa, Tonhalle – Zurich, Konserthuset – Stockholm, Tonhalle – Dusseldorf, Lyon Opera, Mozarteum Hall – Salzburg, Schlos Elmau, Luxembourg, etc.).
Regardless of the vast biographies and experiences in improvised music, the audience will have the opportunity to hear original songs in an interesting formation for the first time and arrangements.
