The legendary Slovene band Hungry Franc
will hold a grand concert on December 22 at the Youth Center in Belgrade. It will be the new year’s gift of Zoran Predin and team of fans in Serbia, as well as an opportunity for the audience for the first time to hear live from their last album “Everybody”.

In addition to the new songs, which has been criticized in all ex Yu countries, the audience will also enjoy old good hits like “Let your kiss draw your lips”, “Do not breathe my collar”, “Praslovan”, “On my side”, “Wait me “,” Horned trumpets “,” Thousands of blueberry flowers “,” Waterpolist “and others.

From the band they announce that on the stage of the night, with their voices and instruments, several famous Belgrade friends from the world of rock and roll will join them, but their names are still kept confidential.

Founded in Maribor, already in 1979, “Hungry Franz” immediately attracted attention to black-eyed, politically-motivated, but also love themes. The spirits of Zoran Predin fluttered with satire and irony were indicating what would later happen to Yugoslavia, which did not come to the approval of political power and cultural apparatus in the then-communist system.

After 9 published editions, the band ceased to operate in 1994 in the midst of a civil war, and Predin continued with solo career for years later, in which great attention was given to the song “Hair of silver color” – dedicated to his platonic love, never revered keyboards EKV Margita Stefanović. In 2014, he gathers some new young people with whom he starts to play and compose, resulting in the jubilee, tenth album “Everybody Loves” (2016), featuring new versions of several old things, but also seven completely new authors songs.

Those who had the opportunity to hear the Lacnist Franc in a new posture say they sound a lot harder than the original one, and each concert ends with acoustic guitars and choir singing with fans.
