MACBETH

The dance performance Magbet continues with the repertoire policy of BITEF dens, which aims to present the audience new trends in the development of dance theater, through choreographic staging of large parts of world literature. So far, they have been realized by Šekspirov Otelo, Dante’s Divine Comedy, Moljana Don Žuan, Aristofan Birds …

The choreography plays Macbeth was entrusted to a young choreographer Milos Isailović, which is in the Bitef Dance Company made a number of excellent playing roles, and for his first choreographic setting Dunjaluk produced by BITEF Theater, was awarded Dimitrije Parlić.

And in this dance setting, based on the classic drama concept, Magbet will be only the starting point for the development of an author’s vision of the contemporary world, in the context of the atmosphere that dominates this famous Sekspiro delto – this is a dark world of confusion, crime, psychological deviations, patriotism, passion …

Contemporary Choreographic Interpretation Magbeta offers a wealth of scenarios. The likeness of Mag Mag has always given special attention and is certainly very attractive and three wizards appear, which, like all other characters, will be visually incorporated into the timeless framework, giving the audience a sense of modernity, modernity and overwhelming universality of Shakespeare’s ideas.

Magbeta I experience as a story about the inner struggle of two people. People with great ambitions. The whole story is pervaded by female principle, determination, but manipulation. Everything is allowed in the fight for soon, or today in the fight for power and high position. And in the end it is paid too high a price, the kingdom is gained in blood, madness and sorrow. Sifting us through the story of Magbeta warns that anyone who wants power at any price has never had good intentions, and is ready for everything. And he warns us to look after his desires because we can do it. And at the top we are left alone, there are strong winds, and all our dirt can be seen on that clear.
