The protection of the life span implies activities and plans aimed at preserving natural resources, maintaining the current state of the environment and, where possible, improving the state of the environment. The current state of the environment in Serbia is by many standards at an unsatisfactory level, bearing in mind that we are a country in the pre-accession process with the European Union, it is very important that we harmonize environmental laws with the EU legislative framework.
The “Open ECO University” project is supported by the City Sports and Youth Directorate and aims to present the legislative framework in the field of environmental protection at the national and local level, as well as the way of creating public policies in this area, both citizens and academic community with emphasis on young people.This forum will be attended by renowned lecturers who will interact with the students about current environmental issues.
