[:en]Suva mountain – Hiking tour 29.04.2018. Serbia for the young Sabac

We invite you to mountaineering the oasis of untouched nature. The steep mountain is a mountain in south-eastern Serbia, 70 meters long and 15 km wide, which is geologically and geographically the Carpathian-Balkan mountain group. It extends south-west from 250 m to 1810 m high and starts east of Niš Banja, and ends south-west of Babušnica. The steep mountain is massive with exceptional manifestations of karst relief, a treasury of sediments of different ages rich in fossil, unique phytocenosis and a forest ecosystem, where 1 261 plant species are present. According to the national legislation, it was proclaimed for the area with status of nature reserve and the object of geonasleja Serbia. The highest peak of Suve Mountain is Trem 1810 mnv.

PLAN AND PROGRAM PUT

Departure from Sapac early in the morning (6h). Motorway ride to Niche with intermittent breaks. Arrival at Bojana Water, the destination of adventure. From Bojanin’s waters to Trema, the highest peak of the Suve Mountain across Devoja’s grave, it takes about four hours. Pause on top. If visibility is good, the view reaches all the way to Bulgaria, Macedonia, Kosovo … The rise to the Trem is valid for one of the most beautiful and most sophisticated ascents in Serbia. Return along the same trail to Bojan’s waters. Transfer to Sapca. Arrival in Sabac in the late evening hours. End of program.

The total length of the track is 15 km. Total climb 1000 m.

Required equipment: shoes with crampons, layered wardrobe, jacket, raincoat, cap and gloves, food (sandwich or something, sweets), minimum 1.5 l of water.
