After almost two years of breaks, the spectacular musical Monty Python’s “Spamalot” based on Monti Pajton and the Holy Grail and one of the most popular musicals ever played on Broadway, will again play in the beautiful Kombank Hall. The superb acting partition led by Nikola Kojo, promises good entertainment and enjoyment. The original Broadway production was made in 2005 when “Spamalot” won the Tony Award for Best Musical, as well as two Tony Awards, Sara Ramirez for the role of Dame from Lake, and Mike Nichols for best musical direction. On that assignment, “Spamalot” was nominated for 14 Tony Awards. The musical abounds in traditional British humor and recognizes the reality in a recognizable, pictorial way, a comic and sarcastic way, so that anyone who looks like “Spamalot” is guaranteed will not remain indifferent. The musical is a story of King Arthur’s legendary quest for the Holy Grail, where King Arthur is portrayed as a cheerful and silly ruler, in his adventure backed by his faithful servant, Petty and the knights of a round table that he finds on that journey. Pyrotechnic search through the whole kingdom is actually a fascinating adventure with a lot of hilarious adventures. The story is based on the book by Erick Aidle, the original member of the Monty Python group, which has its basis in the script of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. The music was composed by John Dupre and Eric Aude.

Directed by: Radoslav Milenkovic
