Connected Agency presents Ploho — post-punk / new wave band from the cold expanses of Siberia. Accenting on low-fi sound the band quickly gained popularity at home in Russia and later on abroad with collaboration with such bands as Molchat Doma, Otchim and Chernaya Rechka. In 2020 Ploho were signed by the Canadian label Artoffact Records and at the moment planning their tour through South and North America.
Ploho combines coldness and loneliness with stylish sound of classical post-punk. Their songs tell about living in the post-Soviet space with all its features: panel buildings, brainwashing TV and oppressive routine. The band reveals and romanticizes the world of regular person living in the next flat. Unremarkable life here gets vivid images with melancholic shadow full of nostalgia for the 90s and 00s.
The gig will be supported by the local post-punk heroes — Izleti and will take place at Elektropionir club and vinyl shop in the center of Belgrade on Cetinska 15.
