UNICEF Charity Concert, Choir KOLIBRI and Friends UNICEF is organizing a humanitarian concert on November 13 at 8 pm at the Sava Center to mark the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The concert will feature the “Hummingbird” choir with special guests Nemanja Radulovic and Stefan Milenkovic with accompanying musicians.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be directed to UNICEF to further support its pre-school education program in Serbia, entitled “Years of Takeoff”. This program is designed to teach children in kindergarten the skills of modern times, to learn how to solve problems, how to make decisions and to acquire knowledge in various fields. Preschool education is the educational foundation of our children – each successive stage of education builds on the success achieved at that age.UNICEF, together with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, public institutions and academia, therefore helps to develop a strong preschool education system. which will provide equal access to early childhood learning opportunities for every child, especially children from vulnerable social groups. By 2022, 12,000 educators, associates and principals will be trained to implement the new Program Basics.
