Some of the best Bosnian and Serbian sevdalinka performers will hold a unique concert “Sevdah in Belgrade” on April 3 in Sava Center . There will be more than 50 performers on the stage, who are known for performing sevdalinki, love songs enchanting their beauty, abilities and powerful emotions. Sevdalinka for each singer is a great challenge, so that only the best ones can be performed by them, and the audience will be taken in sevdah by song: Halid Muslimovic, Vesna Zmijanac, Neda Ukraden, Merima Njegomir, Sasa Kapor, Nikolina Kovac, Ramiza Milkunić, Ringo Hamidović, Azra Husarkić , Esad Merulić, Jasmin Hasić, Dragan Racić, Hamza Šantić and many others. All performers will be accompanied by an orchestra under the direction of Prof. Dejan Milkunić, and the singers will also join the singers Iskra, as well as members of KUD’s “Stevan Štrbac” and “Gdofa” from Tuzla. The program will be run by our famous leader Dragana Katić. The audience will enjoy more than two hours of programs, and carefully chosen are the most beautiful sevdalinke who have been singing for decades and conquering the audience of all generations, such as: “Strange jade from Mostar city”, “My heartbreak”, “My dilere” “Higher grades,” “The end of the thin thread”, “My mother has one,” and many others.
