The world’s top music attraction Thievery Corporation will hold a big summer concert in Belgrade on June 26 (20:30) at Tashmajdan Stadium!
Belgraders are expecting a true sound and spectacular spectacle of powerful, multidisciplinary live bands by Thievery Corporation, founded by Rob Garza and Eric Hilton, responsible for the creation of the entire sub-genre of electronic music enriched with the use of regey, dab, hip hop, downtempo, Indian trip-hop and boss new. What’s heard in the songs “The Richest Man In Babylon”, “Sweet Tides”, “Lebanese Blonde”, “Until the Morning”, “Letter To the Editor” …

The next “Mirror Conspiracy” (2000) is assisted by Bebel Gilberto and Pam Bricker, followed by “The Richest Man in Babylon” (2002) and “The Cosmic Game” (2005), where their collaborators Perry Farrell, Wayne Coyne and David Byrne. Compilation “Versions” (2006) brings Thievery remixes to songs of names like Sarah McLachlan, Astrud Gilberto, Anoushka Shankar and The Doors.

Desiring to exaggerate the reputation of the downtempo ambassador, Garza and Hilton are now beginning to cook subversive footage that reveals their passion for social activism, which is heard on the albums ‘Radio Retaliation’ (2008) and ‘Culture of Fear’ (2011). After honoring the boss with new influences on “Saudade” (2014), Thievery Corporation deepened into the classic rapper and dumb sounds of Jamaica at “The Temple of I
