Sergio Lounge is the alter ego of Belgrade’s author and musician, Srdjan Popov. With its musical and visual style, it combines various elements of contemporary and retro culture into a unique phenomenon on the regional scene, which is striking at first glance, at first listening. The most obvious step forward is the large colorful keyboard, which it uses as an instrument. The keyboard is the closest to the keytar, but it also has its own specific characteristics, which it has perfected over time and made it a real musical instrument. Though not the first person to use the keyboard for musical purposes, he is the first one to take it on stage in such a nasty manner and to do it with his instrument.

Sergio Lounge is funny, fun and with a dose of auto irony, but more than that. With its music, which is mostly instrumental, it plays with music genres and templates, thus playing with the perception of listeners in unexpected ways. In each song, this play is reduced to creating associations with the listener, at certain moments, it remains completely within the given genre, and sometimes it completely abandons it for the purpose of surprise.

In the poems where he sings, his honesty in approaching music is most obvious. Songs with singing are his most often ballads, very emotional and explosive, with developed melodies and simple lyrics. He sings both in Serbian and in English, changing languages as he changes and genres – depending on what the song demands itself.

Sergio has been there for 2 years, and during that time he has played in various events – from club parties to festival and concert, playing with names such as: You, !!! (Chk Chk Chk), Group Belgrade, Artan Lili, Ensh, Rogi …

With a concert at KC Grad, for the first time, the Belgrade audience will present a full-length concert, which will be held together with their new band
