Icelandic metal legends Solstafir will for the first time visit Croatia on December 2 at the Zagreb Culture Factory, where they will be supported by an excellent Danish black metal artist Myrkur.

Solstafir – “Fjara”

Solstafir has been in existence since 1995 and has been building their original black metal sound for years to date with post-metal sound, which is at times more appropriate to rock-rockers like Mogwai or Explosions in the Sky than with some metal bands. With great accolades of criticism from the very beginning, over time, they also attracted the audience, so today they are one of the most sought after bands on metal and festive sounds around the world. With specific excerpts and fantastic live performances, Solstafir has emerged from the mass of genre-like bands and has become the leader of the scene, reaching final and more serious discography. In Zagreb they come to a promotional tour of the current studio album “Berdreyminn”, released in the middle of spring.
Particular weight in Zagreb’s performance is also the selection of the pre-group; Solstafiru will join Myrkur, a one-woman black metal project by Amber Bruun. In the extremely male and extreme world of black metal, the appearance of Myrkur is the right refreshment and is today one of the most interesting appearances in the world of fierce music. She will also promote a new release, “Mareridt” in Zagreb, to be released in September.

Also for Solstafir and for Myrkur concert at the Culture Factory will be premiered for the Croatian audience.
